This event takes place on the second Saturday of each month between Beach Blvd., Palmetto Avenue and Francisco Boulevard, between Paloma and Montecito.

The Pacific Coast Fog Fest each year promotes the City of Pacifica, attracts visitors, celebrates our community and raises funds for local community groups as well as the “Gift for Pacifica Fund.” Now over 50 groups benefit and to date, an amount of $1,250,000 has been donated back.


The Fog Fest was created in 1986 to promote Pacifica and to celebrate our marvelous coast. The last full weekend of September was chosen because historically the weather is unbeatable. The Fog Fest kicks off Saturday morning at 10 am with the Parade, honoring the local community and a competition for best float. Then stay and enjoy our Arts and Crafts booths, Food and Beverage booths, Music & Entertainment, Family Fun Fest and a variety of other activities.

A logo for the world dog surfing championships

The World Championships for Dog Surfing are based on the California coast -- where the concept for the sport originated -- bringing together dog surfing talent. Dog surfers are invited to bring home the gold for charity. During the event there will be a number of activities including the surf competition, partner tents and activities, and more.


Can dogs surf? Indeed they can, and they do! Dog's love to be with their human friends, and often they want to join in on the fun. Humans aren’t the only “surf dogs” – surfers’ four-legged friends love water too, and many even like catching waves. These amphibious canines are special creatures: Top surfers believe that dogs who learn to surf develop a unique attitude, knowing they have something that sets them

apart from other dogs.

Coastside farmers markets has been certified since 2002

The Coastside Farmers Market is a farmer-directed Certified Market that connects Pacifica residents with local farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and culinary artisans, renowned for their beautiful, nutritious, and creative food offerings. Held twice a week, the market not only showcases outstanding local producers but also supports emerging local businesses and provides a platform for community-serving nonprofits. Spanning from Pacifica to Pescadero, the market serves both the local community and visitors, fostering direct relationships between consumers and food producers to sustain resilient community connections.
